Playful Therapy: Matchmaking Play and Emotion


Description: Developmental science has long been championing the healing power of the play mode, whether as a child, adolescent or adult. However, in the field of therapy, play is often overlooked and undervalued. In this playful therapy intensive, we will explore the purposeful dynamics of emotion and the inherent properties of play. Most importantly, the magical interplay of when they come together.

Suitability: Open to all those who work with children, adolescents and adults and would like to apply play to your practice (eg. as counsellor, child care worker, educator, parent, grandparent, etc.)
